Kent Wedding Harpist

Since obtaining my music degree I have performed and

taught the harp, piano and flute. This photo shows me    (centre) and my harp pupils at the Lenham Festival 2014.

 

I have a wide experience of playing for weddings and receptions at a variety of venues.  I have also played for ceremonies in many churches and played at private functions.

 

My repertoire covers wedding classics, popular songs/show tunes, folk and traditional music.  I play both the concert and celtic harp and both harps produce a beautiful sound.

 

            Concert harp –

Very rich, golden sounds on the lower registers

and enchanting, magical tone on the higher notes.

 

            Celtic harp (clarsach) -

Amazingly bright strong tone - often chosen by wedding couples.

 

The sound of either harps carries extremely well. However for playing during the wedding meal I will need amplification if there are over 80 guests.
